App purposeThis app is an initiative of Landschap Overijssel with the collaboration of creative technology (UT).
With it, we wish to spread awareness of the importance of environmentally friendly behaviour.
This is done in three parts elaborated below.QuestionnaireMany often do not realise how many small aspects in our everyday lives impact the total state of the environment, from how long one showers to the mode of transport.
The app comes with a daily questionnare that may be filled near the end of the day to check how well one did for the environment.
The input has effect on advice given right after.
Furthermore, long term input can be viewed on the statistics page.
For direct visualisation, the fuller the tree on the objectives page, the better the performance.Tree plantingThe app also supplies the possibility to plant a tree oneself.
If this is something that interests you, access may be found on "Statistics" at the bottom.
There, an appointment can be made to plant a tree.
Please note that the possibility depends on the season and availability.
Once an appointment is made, instructions will follow.
When the time comes and the tree has been planted, a qr code will be supplied by an on-site worker and a certificate can be accessed through scanning it in the app.
This can be found under "Appointment".Information scavenge huntIn addition to such qr codes, other ones have been scattered in your surroundings.
Once sought out, they can be scanned to reveal information about relevant settings e.g.
shopping habbits when near a convenience store.
To do this, go to "QR code." Note that once the information is tabbed away, it needs to be scanned again to access.
