Yoruba is spoken by more than 40 million speakers mainly in southwestern Nigeria and southeastern Benin.This dictionary is taken from Michka Sachnines paper dictionary published by Karthala in 1997, preceded by an introduction to the grammar of Yorùbá and followed by a French-Yorùbá index.
The author also wrote a grammar in 2014.
The two works are the only ones existing in French.
