SWaRM AMR for Android – Latest Version & Features

SWaRM AMR is the mobile application for Android, which allows the operator to generate his worklist (i.e., a list of meters with the relevant GPS coordinates); the application guides the operator, by means of a map provided by the application, to retrieve the readings from the meters in his worklist.
WORKFLOW:• The scanning activity is only possible if the operator’s position is close to the meter for which the reading is being entered.
In this case, the application checks that the current GPS coordinates are within a suitable radius of the selected meter.
• Scanning activity can be paused and then resumed at any time.
When an activity is paused, the application can be terminated and the activity can be subsequently resumed where it was interrupted.
• Once the readings have been retrieved, the operator can upload the list to a server.
• If the meter is not read by the antenna, the operator has a possibility to attach a photo of it, by clicking on the marker on the map, or choosing the meter from the list of unprocessed meters.
• For every successful acquisition, the meter information such as serial number, manufacturer, address, reading time, and RSSI value is included and can be previewed in the dedicated sections.
ADDITIONAL FEATURES: • User authentication• The wizard mode drives the user to the process of creating simulated worklists • Readings are being retrieved in two manners: 1) via an 868 MHz Radio Mode; 2) via 169 MHz Radio Mode.
