A mobile driver application that integrates with a comprehensive school district-administered web app that allows school districts to enable, certify, and empower teachers and other district employees to transport children/students to and from school as the employees commute to/from work.
The driver app provides all the tools and information necessary for the driver to safely and efficiently perform the transportation duties from start to finish, including:- Showing the driver the details of trips being offered to them including dates, times, students, trip directions, estimated times, and driver compensation- Provides a simple mechanism for accepting/rejecting these trip offers- Trip Management features such as "Start Trip", real-time trip Navigation, management of passenger statuses (picked-up, no-show, excused, dropped-off)- Active, real-time driver performance measurement and tracking to provide the drivers, systems Administrators, ad school officials with immediate and historical feedback about the drivers transportation-related behaviors during the trips- Provides a full-featured visual navigation tool to the driver to facilitate the routing of the trips to ensure the safest and most efficient trip routing is made available on a real-time basis along with audible turn-by-turn instructions.- Tracks the trips progress, mileage, GPS locations of students while in transit (for sharing with parents and school officials), and the individual passenger statuses (picked-up, no-show, excused, dropped-off) throughout the trip.- Provides real-time driver performance measuring, tracking, and a post-trip Driver Performance Rating (EXCELLENT, AVERAGE, RISKY) along with supporting details that affected the rating.
