TELUS Care Team Social Connect makes it easy for friends, family members and caregivers to connect with loved ones who live alone, in long-term care, assisted living, or a community center.
The Care Team Social Connect app lets you call (audio or video) your elderly relatives and friends, and send messages, photos and videos to them from your mobile device.
You can also use Care Team Social Connect to send wellness check-in surveys for added peace-of-mind.
What is TELUS Health Social Connect?A new communications platform, TELUS Health Social Connect allows aging parents or grandparents to stay connected to friends, family and caregivers.
Using TELUS Health Social Connect, seniors can receive and send email, text messages, photos and videos and have audio/video calls on a large-screen tablet, which helps to strengthen their physical and social wellbeing.
Meanwhile, family members and caregivers are kept informed on the senior’s activities, how they are interacting with others, and which app features they use most.
