Description
One of the important concepts of art education in our school (Hong Kong Federation of Educators Huang Chubiao School) is that art is in life, and art is to make people appreciate and discover the beauty in life. Our school is located in Tung Chung, Lantau, and there are many traditional attractions, such as: Tung Chung Fort, Heart Sutra Jane Forest, Big Buddha, etc. In recent years, the government has also vigorously developed the area, and a number of large-scale economic and tourism infrastructure projects have been completed, such as the Hong Kong International Airport, the 360 Cable Car, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge, and Disneyland. The combination of tradition and modernity gives Lantau a new character. Therefore, our creation combines painting and music with innovative technology (AR technology) to present a new scene of Lantau Island in a new art form. The software selected four 3D models of scenic spots as the theme, namely: the school building, the airport, the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge and the Ngong Ping 360 cable car. In addition to the school building, other AR attractions include corresponding content introductions and knowledge of STEM education. For each attraction, the students of the school will compose the corresponding music, and a quiz game about related STEM knowledge will be added to increase users understanding of Lantau Island.
