To understand and contemplate.It was mentioned in the book of the Ten Recitations by Ibn al-Jazari, where he said: “Reciting the hadar is intended to increase the number of times and gain the merit and reward of frequent recitation of the Holy Qur’an.
In it, one should be careful not to cut off the vowels, to lose the sound of the ghanna, to miss most of the vowels, and to be negligent to the point where the reading is not valid and cannot be described as such.” Recitation is the fourth level: Its name is tawdīr, and it is medium-speed, between tartīl and ḍādr.
Imam Ibn al-Jazari says in his book The Ten Recitations: “The Book of God Almighty is read with taqīqīq, with hadr, and with tawārī, which is the mediation between the two cases, reciting beautifully with Arabic melodies and sounds, and improving pronunciation and voice according to ability.”It is worth noting that reading Hadr is the doctrine and method of reading and reciting many well-known reciters such as Ibn Kathir, Abu Jaafar, Abu Amr, Ya’qub, Qalun, Al-Asbahani, Al-Wali on the authority of Hafs, and others, but caution must also be taken when reading the Qur’an by avoiding reading too much.
