This App has been developed to help calculate the nutritional intake in children being given liquid feeds (usually through a feeding tube) in ICU/ ward settings.
It calculates the per feed and per day calorie and macro-nutrient intake and provides the percent of calories provided by protein, fat, and carbohydrates.
On provision of the target daily total fluid, total calorie, and total protein intakes, it also shows the percent target achieved.
The App may also help develop specific diet plans.
It has a database of commonly used formulae; milk; supplemental protein, carbohydrate and fat sources.
The app allows to add new formulae/products to the database.
There is a feature to save the feeds, which can also be modified.
