The National Heart Foundation Hospital & Research Institute has been hosting the National Heart Foundation Conference on Cardiovascular Diseases (NhfCCD) since December 2006.
Over the course of the past 17 years, this conference has evolved into an indispensable component of the institute and a significant gathering within the cardiovascular community of our country.
Every year, on the 1st and 2nd of December, leading international and national experts specializing in Clinical, Interventional, Diagnostic, and Preventive cardiology convene to engage in dialogue, exchange experiences, and present their cutting-edge scientific research at this distinguished event.This conference has had the privilege of hosting illustrious international professors, faculty members, and researchers who have added luster to its reputation in Bangladesh.
To mention just a few, weve had the honor of hosting luminaries such as Professor Jean Marco, the Founder and Course Director of EuroPCR in 2016, Dr.
Takashi Akasaka from Japan in 2019, renowned for his clinical research on OCT and coronary physiology, and Dr.
Bruno Farah, the Co- Director of the Interventional Cardiology Unit at Clinique Pasteur in Toulouse, in 2019.
Other esteemed faculty members have included Dr.
Frank Sellke (USA), Dr.
Angelo Auricchio (Switzerland), Dr.
Piotr Musialek (Poland), Dr.
Kothandam Sivakumar (India), and Dr.
Chowdhury H Ahsan (USA), among others.
