Audiobarn is the newest addition to Montreal’s musician’s toolkit, providing an in-depth list of open stages and busking pots in Montreal.
While the information is somewhat accessible in different pockets across the internet, we found an opportunity in bringing all this golden information onto one platform in the hopes to save time and provide opportunities for local musicians to find other musicians and to jam together.The idea was born out of a desire to help the local music scene by musicians for the love of music.
After multiple variations of different ways that we might be of value to the community, we decided to simply ask ourselves: “what do we want to do?”.
To which the response was: “we want to jam!”.
And after a lot of blood and sweat, we’d like to share with you what we’ve found.We realize that having the service online is only the first milestone of an ever-evolving startup, and would appreciate any and all feedback of the idea and the service, as long as it is constructive.
