This should be fixed from Version 4.0 of the app.Moto X1 (unknown reason, probably a fault in Moto Display app itself)Moto X2 and up, Moto Z, Z2 series (they have this functionality inbuilt)]This app brings up Moto Display when the devices proximity sensor detects motion while the screen is off.
Plus there are some more features.Extra features:1) Music control notification - control music volume directly from Moto Display without touching volume rockers2) Wave-n-hold for screen off - switch off the screen with the proximity sensor based gesture built in the app, no need to use the power button.[This app doesnt activate Moto Display (or lock screen) while the device is in the pocket]Interested in translating the app?
