‘Konna’ started her journey as the digital health awareness & service platform for RMG workers, and eventually introducing other wellbeing to ensure access to modern, preferably digital, formal financial services that go beyond the possession of a bank account and improve the financial health of RMG workers and their community members.Our journey started on March ‘21 through a round table discussion titled “Technology in women’s health wellbeing” jointly with “East West Media Group”.
And within this short period of time, Konna has been awarded as a Promising Inclusive Business Model for RMG workers Health Wellbeing jointly by Dutch-Bangla Chamber of Commerce and Industries (DBCCI) & SNV Netherlands Development Organization supported by the Netherlands Government.
After that, we got the opportunity to work with H & M Foundation, BRAC and other government & International Organization to design wellbeing services for RMG Factories.Within a short time of operations we have reached more than 15000 users for health profiling, more than 1.2 million through social media, developed partnerships with 3 medical colleges , 4 RMG factories, 6 online health service providers and many more.
Now we are preparing to reach scale and we are targeting to have more than 1 million users by the end of 2023.
