Islamic Banks Consultative Forum (IBCF), the apex body of Sharia’h based Banking Industry working in Bangladesh started its operation on 11 October 1995 to establish effective interaction among all Islamic Banks and Banks having Islamic Banking branches, to march to the same goal, to be united on all issues, to establish Islamic Money Market and to strengthen the interest free Islamic and Shariah based banking system in Bangladesh.Now, Islamic Banking system has attained mass popularity in Bangladesh.
As a result, area of Islamic Banking is increasing day by day.
Besides the Conventional Banks & Islamic Banks are working unitedly.
From the very starting, IBCF is marching forward.
After the successful completion of 21 years, the Members of IBCF became 14 (fourteen).
These 14 Banks are working with the same goals and objectives to establish interest free banking system in Bangladesh.
