The production of meals has an important contribution to environmental degradation through its process (use of food, its transformation and subsequent distribution of meals) and, much earlier, the planning of menus is a decisive activity in the production of meals with less environmental impact .
This tool, developed by the Laboratory of Sustainability in Meal Production ( LASUPRE ) of the Josué de Castro Nutrition Institute of the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (INJC-UFRJ), will help you to assess the environmental impacts of planned meals based on the calculations.
