Goto City is located at the westernmost tip of Kyushu, about 100 kilometers west of Nagasaki Prefecture.
Located in the southwest of the Goto Islands, it is composed of 140 large and small islands with a total area of 420.87㎢, consisting of 11 inhabited islands and 52 uninhabited islands.
