CredoID Checkpoint for Android – Latest Version & Features

CredoID Checkpoint is a companion application for CredoID access control system.
It enables reading diverse ID’s – access cards, badges, tokens, QR and bar codes – on compatible mobile devices, and checking whether ID carrier has valid access rights in the main CredoID system.In combination with a mobile device, CredoID Checkpoint is extremely useful for ensuring safety and security at hard-to-read and hard-to-service locations: construction sites, large and remote territories, mines, production facilities, etc.
Key benefits of CredoID Checkpoint include:- Ensuring only authorized personnel is on-site, without permanent access control installation;- Providing precise time and attendance information;- Notifying remote operators of suspicious persons or activities;- Serving as mustering point for emergency situations;- Enabling convenient random checks on-site.CredoID Checkpoint also has a built-in process for additional checks, such as body temperature validation.
As a result of verification, CredoID Checkpoint app displays “Access granted” or “Access denied” event and submits the information to main CredoID database automatically or as soon as a connection is established.CredoID Checkpoint requires access to camera for reading QR and Bar codes, and an NFC reader to read compatible high frequency ID cards.
On some devices, such as Coppernic C-One2, HID iClass and SEOS cards may also be read via an embedded reader.
