Caring Mind is designed to help caregivers of someone with Alzheimers Disease and related dementia to enhance their mindset during caregiving, deal with the difficult situations related to dementia, reduce stress, alleviate depression, and improve quality of life.The Caring Mind curriculum is based on research by Photozig, Inc.
and Stanford University, with the incorporation of new techniques to foster constructive thinking, positive acceptance of challenges, visualization of new ways to cope, and daily practices.We hope that our curriculum will teach skills and help families struggling with dementia caregiving, as it has helped many caregivers in our past research studies.The Caring Project is conducting a research study to develop new coping resources for caregivers of individuals with Alzheimer’s Disease and related dementia.• Are you a caregiver of an individual with dementia?• Would you like to learn how to deal with difficult caregiving situations?This is a self-paced program (no face-to-face meetings, appointments, etc), and participants can live anywhere in the US.
