*A non-medical app that works with the Polar H10 chest strap to display a smoothly-rendered live ECG, and can monitor for and capture potential abnormalities in heart rhythm.
The user is notified each time a possible palpitation is detected and an ECG capture is stored for review.
The app is designed to run throughout the day without any need for the user to stop their activity to interact with the app or their phone.This app is not intended for the diagnosis or management of any medical condition.
Please consult your physician if you have any health concerns.Abnormalities are detected by comparing time subsequent RR intervals.
If there is percentage change in subsequent RR intervals greater than the threshold specified in the settings, a notification is issued.
Other types of rhythm abnormalities are not detected.
Specifically this app is not intended to detect atrial fibrillation.The app can also be used with palpitation notifications disabled, and simply utilized as an ECG trace during exercise provided there is minimal movement of the strap.
