If you are using either keyboard, the following features are still available.
However, it is recommended to use the standalone widget instead.
~~~~~With the "English Text Expansion Keyboard", this app allows you to add events to the calendar on the fly.While you are typing in any text editor, as long as you type a "calendar command", for example,.cal.td.3pm.meet.someoneand then press the space key, the event "meet someone" will be inserted into the time slot of todays 3pm of the calendar, without the need of opening any calendar app.
All happen in the background so you can focus back on your original work at once.
(For the standalone widget, the equivalent command is td 3pm meet someoneAnd then press enter.) Further examples:.cal.20150112.1230PM.do.something(add an event named "do something" to the date 2015.01.12 and time 12.30pm to my calendar).cal.tm.1520.do.something(tomorrow 3.20pm).cal.td.1520.do.something(today 3.20pm).cal.sun.do.something(add an event named "do something" to the default time (set by you) to the coming Sunday).cal.atm.1520.do.something(the day after tomorrow 3.20pm)More explanations and examples will be provided within the app.In case you really need to open your calendar app, this app can act as a launcher.
