An application designed to help avid bird watchers find bird watching hotspots and record their observations on their phones.
The app:- Allows you to find Bird watching hotspots within a chosen radius- Shows you the quickest route to get to each hotspot- Allows you to view the details of the hotspots- Allows you to create an entry/observation wherever you are, enabling you to capture the bird species, a short description and even an image of the bird/sighting.
- Additionally when capturing an observation, the users location of capturing is stored so as to allow you to be able to return to your sighting spots.- Sightings are also shared to other app users, allowing for users to be able to see other watchers sightings and be able to go to those spots too.- Your sightings are also saved and are easily accessible as well in the My observations page.- The user can also toggle being the imperial and metric system for personalisation- All user observations and settings are also stored in the cloud, ensuring no unnecessary device storage space is used.
