BEF HOME, a traditional Czech manufacturer of fireplace inserts and stoves, presents a product line of BEF HOME NETWORK accessories that change the approach to the control and operation of your fireplace. It simplifies and improves the use of the fireplace insert by giving you the possibility to control and operate your fireplace in your smartphone. It is an alternative to standard automatic combustion controls, as it offers the user the option of choosing the range of functions he wants to control on his fireplace.What is BEF HOME NETWORKThe core of the BEF HOME NETWORK concept is an application that the customer downloads for free to their smartphone or tablet. The application is the only control interface in which the user controls the individual functionalities of BEF HOME NETWORK.The individual elements of fire control and fireplace operation are divided into several basic segments in BEF HOME NETWORK. Each of them controls its own WiFi module, which communicates with the application in real time. All modules are functionally independent of each other, so that a possible failure or deactivation of one will not limit the functionality of the others. For its operation, the module only needs a connection to the electrical network via a network adapter and a connection to a home WiFi network. The modular solution of the whole concept has a great advantage for the user, which lies in the freedom to choose which functionalities to use.BEF HOME NETWORK can be installed on multiple devices and all can be paired with one specific module. The user can thus have an overview of the burning status on several different devices, regardless of where they are located. The only condition for the application to work is that the smartphone or tablet has access to the Internet and that the WiFi module is also connected to the home network.T-METERT-METER is the first module controlled by the BEF HOME NETWORK application. TMETER is a smart fireplace thermometer that transmits information about the current temperature in the furnace to the BEF HOME NETWORK application in real time. When the combustion temperature falls below the set limit, the application notifies the user via a notification of the need to add new fuel. It is therefore not necessary to watch whether the fireplace goes out.The application will send a warning about the need to apply only when the fuel in the furnace is burned and has broken down into hot coals. Thanks to the style of application to the hot coals, the user reduces the consumption of wood and at the same time reduces the risk of overheating the fireplace insert.The user also displays a record of the last two hours of burning in the form of a graph showing temperature changes. In the application itself, the user is informed about the need to enclose a decrease in the graph values below the marked limit, as well as a change in the color environment around the temperature value from red to blue.Installation and commissioning of the application 1. Download the BEF HOME NETWORK application to your smartphone or device. 2. Connect the module (for example T-METER) to the mains. The LED on the module starts flashing. Intermittent blinking means "not connected to WiFi". 3. Hold down the ON button on the WiFi module for at least 1 second. The LED lights up permanently. 4. Connect to a wifi network called "BeF Home AP" on your phone, laptop or tablet. The login page will automatically open in your internet browser. Enter the data for your wifi network here. The WiFi module will connect to it and use it to communicate with the application on your device. The LED will turn off and flash at approximately 20-second intervals. 5. Open the BEF HOME NETWORK application on your device. Click on the field symbol with the QR code in the upper left corner. The camera interface opens. Scan the QR code on the bottom of the lid of the box with the WiFi module with it. The application thus pairs with your module. If you add or change BEF HOME NETWORK modules in the future, you will pair your application with the new module in the same way. And it is done!
