Does not track current location. I have moved the toggle set my location permissions and the toggle is set to off every time I reopen the app.

I like keeping an eye on those I care about. If you're the same, you'll enjoy this app. Excellent resource to keep track of friends, and family around the country. I love knowing that if there was a natural disaster that I'll be alerted quickly. There's even little quizzes on what to do in the event of a home fire, flood, hurricane, etc. to brush up your knowledge of worst case scenarios.
What an amazing App !!! Actually let's me have a peice of mind , I'm in a wheelchair and its nice to know if a storm or tornado is to close and gives me the chance to get into my van in my attached garage with my power chair and gives me the choice to find shelter for I live in a mobile home park and just feel safer knowing I have time to get to safety, besides it even shows a map of the storms direction so I know to get away from it in the opposite direction , that actually saved me !

Ok for warnings and watches not great at actual disasters. I'll get fifteen fire watch notifications but if there's a fire within view I get nothing. It's never once alerted me to an earthquake even after I've felt one. It did give an alert for a twister touchdown once although it was at the very edge of my range and wouldn't have been able to get to me so this might be more helpful for people often near tornadoes.
