Description
I was born in Palermo, the city where I still live, after having obtained the high school diploma in foreign languages, I continued my studies by following specialization courses abroad. In 1996 I lived in Vienna for a year, a city that I will always carry in my heart, a city that I define as my second home. I worked in the hotel-tourism sector, first as a tourist entertainer and later as a receptionist manager. Work that I loved for contact with people. I like reading, playing sports, going to the cinema, and I am passionate about everything that leads me back to art, from poetry to photography, etc. In fact, I have cultivated a passion for photography, which I am perfecting as a self-taught. Living surrounded by nature is a source of inspiration and gives me relief and inner peace, which is why I have been trekking professionally for about six years with environmentalist groups and guides. I love the sea, as a good Sicilian I love it especially in the cold seasons when every wave it is a source of inspiration and thoughts to me. In the summer season I go very early, almost at dawn to enjoy the silence before the bathers arrive, or I often go to specific places to admire the sunsets.Obviously the sunsets of an island are incomparable and unique.I am an animal lover, I disturbs hunting and everything that causes death and violence to animals, I live with my two wonderful labradors, a chocolate named Bruno and a honey named Otto. I have been writing for passion since I was a teenager, I started with the usual diaries, that what I write I dare not call it poetry because I never had the presumption of feeling like that, nor a writer, I write about my life, my emotions, my pains, my joys, I write a bit about everyones life. In 2015 with Twins editions my first novel "Lisola del vento" was published, over the years I have participated in various readings in my city, in 2018 I participated with the group "ParticiPalermo" in the publication of the volume "PalermoParla ”, our writing referent and former university professor Maria Antonietta La Barbera. One of my "poems" has been included in the volume of Aletti Editori entitled "Between a cultivated flower and another donated one". I am working on a new book, but this will take time.
