The Corrected Bible is one of the translations of the Bible into Portuguese based on the version of João Ferreira de Almeida, this translation used only the Receptus Text as the basis for the translation of the New Testament and the Masoretic Text for the Old Testament.
This text seeks to maintain fidelity in meaning, but also the balance of forms, making the biblical text more faithful to the originals among those we have in Portuguese.
