RAFIKI App is a mobile application which provides support and information to anyone who may be in an abusive relationship or at risk of being a victim, and/or those connected with someone they know.
The app will also have a mental health feature to give tools on how to handle mental health issues such as anxiety, stress, depression and/or suicide.The mobile application that will ease the reporting of violations from Key and marginalized persons.
This is in a bid to offer new innovative ways to battle violence against the key and marginalized persons by using the internet to provide protection, independence, and securityMost importantly, the app does not discriminate on gender, sexual orientation, or age.
It serves to help anyone affected by gender-based violence.-The stake-holders supporting the app are Redcross, Hivos and Oxfam.
Safaricom team has been liasing with us on the development of the app.
