Please configure the key data of your vehicle completely and use the “technically permissible total mass (tzGm)” for the weight.For users with Android 12+, we recommend checking the app settings: please deactivate app optimization and allow toll tracker,that the app can run in the background.
Please also allow the app to always use GPS tracking.
Finally, we recommend always supplying the device with external power while driving.
Otherwise there may be gaps in the recording because Android can set the app to save power.Since July 1, 2018, it is no longer so easy in Germany to know whether you are on a toll road and how long you are driving on it, since the federal highways also became subject to tolls.
In addition, the existing OBU no longer shows the current costs.Toll Tracker is a new app that steps in here.
The current journeys are analyzed and the toll costs during the journey are calculated.
With the help of artificial intelligence, it is analyzed whether you are on a toll route and the associated costs are calculated without any stationary counting infrastructure.We do not store your movement data, the app only runs on your cell phone.
However, if you need help, you can send us a support ticket containing your most recent information so we can help you.IMPORTANT: the app is not a replacement for the standard toll OBU and is not used to bill toll costs!
It simply gives an estimate of the costs for the routes traveled.
We can therefore accept no liability for the results.Toll tracker is also brand new and may still have restrictions on route recognition, e.g.
in tunnels.
It also requires precise location, so the power consumption in the smartphone is relatively high.
Please use a charger in the vehicle and hold your smartphone by the window or dashboard to enable optimal localization.
