They formed a sorority on February 4, 1889 with Methodist Pastor Jakob Ekert as a general nursing association.
They chose the name Martha-Maria because they wanted to help people comprehensively.
Jesus Christ turned to people in a special way and thereby realized the love of God.
This is what our mission is based on to this day.The name is reminiscent of a story from the Bible: Jesus is a guest of Martha and Mary.
While Martha takes care of him, Mary sits down next to Jesus and listens to him.
The name Martha-Maria is our obligation and program.
