Description

DroidRTTY is an application to decode and encode Ham Radio RTTY with the build in microphone/speaker or wired to your radio.A waterfall shows the frequency spectrum of 100Hz to 2500Hz. Just slide the waterfall slide on a RTTY carrier frequency and DroidRTTY will decode the signal.In transmitting mode characters can be entered trough the keyboard. 20 Macros are also available to store standard texts like “name and qth” and “station info”DroidRTTY also includes a logbook. Callsign, Name RST etc can be easily tranfered into the lookbook from the receiving screen.The logbook also includes ADIF export and import to transfer your logbook data to a PC based logging software.DroidRTTY can also encode and decode 50 baud / 450Hz shift to receive the German Weather Service (Deutscher Wetterdienst)Removed unused GPS permissions

Excellent piece of software, ideal for portable operation as well as fixed station. Very easy to set up and use. I have used it in contests to great effect. I would highly recommend this to anyone , beginner or old hands at digital modes. Give it a try it's great fun especially when propagation is poor. Also try DroidPSK for PSK31 and 63, same layout and set up as DroidRTTY making these two great companion programs. Customer support also excellent very fast replies to queries though I doubt you'll have many as it's all set out so straight forward . Now go get it ! you won't regret it Frank G4HBI

It would be great to have more choices of frequency shift and baud rates in order to copy some of the 'numbers' stations. Also, it seems to be draining power by using GPS on my phone even when the the app has exited!

It just works, what more can I say. It always amazes me what it can pull out of the noise. Communications with author yield quick responses with helpful instructions. I plan to purchase more apps from Wolphi LLC.

This app is great just put your phone close to the radio speaker and it starts to decode the rtty data.....

Best App out their for this mode. Been using it for a few years now. Just reinstalled on a replacement android tablet. It provides everything for the ham radio mode. Decodes the websdr beautifully. Open websdr via Firefox find a signal ,then open droid rtty and you will find a panoramic display of signals, same applies to droid psk. So multitasking for RX works well.
