The long awaited Official Wheres George? app for for WheresGeorge.com is here!This app provides many new features, like the ability to take a snap of a bills serial number, and the app will read the Serial Number via the "OCR" button when entering bills. Just take a photo of the bill with your phone, crop the serial number, and thats it! You can still enter the serial numbers with the spinner wheels or the keypad, whichever works best for you.This new app also allows you access the desktop version of the website with just one tap -- if you want to access YOUR BILLS, or your HIT ANALYSIS REPORT or watch the REAL TIME Hit Feed Map, or other feature not available in the app.The Official Wheres George? app allows you to easily:-- Enter Wheres George? Needs work. Camera option to capture serial numbers crashes constantly. The manual input of rolling the letters and numbers into serial # input is horrible. Just needs a manual entry with keyboard.
Love the idea, but unable to enter series info. The picker is empty.
Not worth using. Yet alone paying for App is designed like it was made in 2005. Horrible looking and scaled. Camera feature is broken and if the first number in the serial is 0 it won't be able to read it. Also only able to get serial off camera and rather than scan and go you take a photo, crop, the submit and hope it reads. Camera also flops from portrait to landscape mode without phone moving.
App looks painfully outdated, has an old iOS style. The only additional feature not present on the website that justifies the price tag is scanning in bills.

I have done wheresgeorge bills for 18 years or so. I faithfully marked them took them home and used my pc to enter them. I was so happy when I finally got a smart phone and could now use this wonderful app to register them on the go.
