Estimation application downloads and cost
Error message not clear enough if your Internet connection is down, also fails to recognise when you have no goods, and this can lead to you being barred. Further, close button STILL does not work, taking you back to the start.
Useless. I went to waitrose today and when I went to use the app, it asked me to scan my waitrose card. Impossible as I only have a virtual card and there was no way to put it in. Was told I could queue up at the desk to scan my virtual card and pick up a handset. I was trying to avoid using a handset! It was great before. Sainsburys app much better!
Unusable since updated. Keeps dropping out, stops listing items and eventually you have to scan the whole basket again, quickcheck it certainly ain't no more. Shame as it was a good app before the update.
Since the latest update, whenever I scan into a Waitrose I get an error message that the service is blocked. It was fixed by the service desk but the next time I scanned the same message occurs. What should take just a few seconds can take up to 5 minutes each time I visit
I have used this on four trips now. Everytime it has been fine and worked very well. If you are familiar with the shop provided self scan guns you will be completely at home with this app because it works the same way. I used on mobile data not WiFi. Scans codes are identified quickly and reliably with good confirmation tones and haptic feedback. It will save you time. Scan the entrance QR code, scan your items, scan the end code at the self scan terminal, a few taps later you're done.
Congratulations, you effectively locked me out of the new version of the app, as you insist on me scanning my Waitrose card, who has a card anymore ? It's on another app on my phone but that's no good as only allows scanning of card before use. Not sure what planet your developers are on or why you need so many frigging apps that do minimal things, why not just have one app that does it all ? Oh and the app also locks you out of your phone, great work guys now I can't check my shopping list đ€
