Held since 1983, the Taste of Madison is Madison Festivals flagship event, with over 80 restaurants, three entertainment stages, 26 beverage stands, and the Green Bay Packers Lambeau Field Live for a second time, drawing over 250,000 to the Wisconsin State Capitol Square over Saturday and Sunday of Labor Day weekend. There is no charge for admission or entertainment. Since its inception, the Taste of Madison has raised over $1.2 million for local non-profit and charitable organizations. Join us Labor Day weekend, September 4th and 5th, at Breese Stevens Field for Taste of Madison Off the Square presented by Starion Bank. This fundraising event will feature 40 food vendors, a variety of beverage options, and live music entertainment all day. Very handy app, especially ratings. Zoom functionality could use some work.
Wish we could search by vegan/vegetarian for the food option.
Had to log out in order to create an account and log in to favorite things. Now that i favorited all the things i want to remember to try, i dont see any way to sort by favorites. Seems a little pointless now. Minor other bugs on specific food listings. App delivers for the most part with schedule and vendors. If home menu just had a favorites button to show me a list of what i want to do id be quite happy
Can't even download
Huge download to install, then app hangs when you try to use it as it tries to download ads before it'll show you any event info. I'm _at_ the event, on Verizon with Pixel 3XL and showing LTE with 4 bars signal strength. Unacceptable that the designers didnt know this would happen. Do better next time!!!
Didn't really get to use it at the actual event. Everyone's internet was junk on the Square. What little we could use was not very intuitive by today's standards at all. There is a map but with with NO 'specific' food stand locations marked. You have to go into search forms to find what you want. The app should use GPS to show where you actually are in real time and obviously every food stand should be shown on the map with filters to show only the food stands that meet your filtered criteria.
