Vocal Slides II allows you to associate images to a voice recording.This application is the Remake and Paid Version of VocalSlides.The original design has been optimized to be compatible with Android versions above 1.6 such as ICS 4.0.3.In addition, some features have been improved.This release introduces the ability to import and export projects.This is to facilitate the backup and sharing these among users.In addition, we have added the ability to use Text To Speech.What is VocalSlides II?VocalSlides II allows you to create libraries of images with the ability to be displayed sequentially to which it is possible to combine a voice message.VocalSlides II is an application born from the idea of a parent whose son suffers of autism.This application does NOT cure autism, but has the precise aim of creating between father and son game enough to entice a child to communicate.The ingredients that are the basis of the game are:1. The child shows an interest in this "strange toy" that the father uses every day and when it happens that the father is talking on the phone, the child perceives that something happens; 2. The father is the leading figure for the child, is his model to get ahead in life and the world around him uncommunicative; 3. Have a program to this "fathers strange toy" that the child can use together with him and that has characteristics similar to VocalSlides II. This is the only app I've found that can record audio and text over images. My 4 year old learnt how to use it in seconds. The audio record feature is superbly implemented and so is the direct photo from camera. The export and import card and project functions, along with being able to use audio and images already stored on the device, make building up a library painless. Thank you.

This app is perfect for what I need working with my students with communication difficulties and I can even just use it to make stories. Also, a big plus is that the developers seem very responsive and dedicated to making sure the app runs smoothly and bug free. Thanks.

A lot of thought has been put into designing this app! Simple enough for a person with cognitive difficulties to learn to use it, and containing useful features like the possibility of adding both real sound and electronic voice to the photographs. It has taken me a long time to find it due to not having "photo" or "talk/speak" in its name. I will recommend it to the Speech and Language Therapists in my team, as it is one of the best I have seen around (for Android).

This fault I have seen several times, tried to contact developpers but mail addresses I found in the app and in the website are obsolete

I could not get the recorded audio to play, but the text to speech is ok. Hoping to use this with an aphasia patient as it is customizable with picture and text. Wish you could customize more like text size.
