USB camera connected to the tablet directly:This app was developed to use an USB camera with a 10"-Tablet as a rearview camera.The display can be flipped in mirror view, like the picture is in a real mirror. Also it can be set to the view of a camera. The resolution of the camera can be selected from the range of 160 x 120 to 1600 x 1200.The current picture can be captured as a snapshot to a file. (This option can be disabled in settings)If there is a second camera connected (e.g. with external HUB), then buttons for selection will be shown.Developed and tested for:Tablet with 10-inch-display: - ACER IconiaTAB A200 - ACER IconiaTAB A501Camera: - Logitech QuickCam Pro 9000 - Logitech Webcam C905 It is to expect that several other hardware will work, but certainly not each. Get the resolution settings right and it works great. Using some cheap Chinese no name USB camera with adjustable led lights for viewing wall cavities etc & an Acer a501. Very happy with responsiveness, clarity etc.

Crashes if you have the wrong resolution but get the resolution right and it works perfectly (you may need to remove the camera to change the resolution). Works fine with cheep USB camera and with a PC3315 Digital Microscope on the Acer A501 Tablet. [Would be better if it would save images and if the menus were not only in German (though you don't need to understand German to figure out how to use it).] Now captures images from USB camera and has English menus as well as the German. Developer is very responsive to suggestions. Top App, highly recommended to anyone who has a use for an external camera on their Android device.

Really want this to work. Tried a camera-no good. Then remembered I had another camera so thought I'd try that. 15 min time limit meant I had to uninstall. Didn't realise NO refund on second try. Playstore is equally to blame as no prior warning is given. Refund given as promised, so revised to 4 stars for service and integrity. Really hope this gets developef so it works on my ph.

Wow, bought this thinking it probably would not work but it is great. I have hooked my cheap Chinese digital USB microscope and am now using the tablet as my screen. Fantastic.
