It is advised that you liaise with your Speech and Language Therapist when using Swallow Prompt. Swallow Prompt also has a convenient widget which you can add to your home screen in order to make starting and stopping it very easy. A journal article published in the International Journal of Language and Communication Disorders in 2001 found that when people with Parkinsonās Disease used a swallow reminder their saliva management improved. Great app! This is just what I was looking for. Really clear and simple to use. I like that you can choose to have the reminder via a vibration, sound (which you can choose) or both. Cannot wait to recommend this to patients.
