Description

Weather Informant allows streamlined access and push notification to every National Weather Service forecast, watch/warning, observation, statement and discussion from any of the 122 Forecast Offices nationwide and six specialty centers. It is quite simply NWS in an app. The Database processes approx 19,500 products per day or 13.5 per minute. - All textual forecasts, statements, discussions, observations, tables, matrix, collectives, watches & warnings from every NWS office.- App recommends closest NWS office based by current location (GPS). - Browse by NWS Office- Browse by active hazard type.- Favorite any product for quick access- Select push notification of any favorite- Customize and preview alert sounds- Use keyword search to refine favorites- Keywords are highlighted for easy viewing- Pinch to zoom to change font size.- View up to 72 hours of previous product (swipe back) - Valid Time Event Code (VTEC) action displayed for all watch/warnings- Allows customized favorites by product type, NWS Office or keyword search phraseFavorites can be added only with a search text. I have many mechanisms for finding the NWS text products. None of them are as easy and straightforward as through Weather Informant. I had heard of the product quite some time ago, but it wasn't available for Android at the time. I was very excited when I found out it was available for Android. The developers are very communicative and have developed a very good product.

I have the S7 edge.. This product.keeps locking up every time I try to go to look up a city. Is this product still supported?

I absolutely love having this app. I have trouble navigating the settings to provide me with the exact alerts I want, but overall, this product is necessary for any meteorologist or storm chaser

it works but no matter what i do and try i still get notifacations from products i dont want i-still receve them dispite how i change setting and favorites

I would put a zero because this does not work for me. I have trouble shooted it repeatedly, keeps crashing, drains my battery, and am being denied a refund. Update: Still won't work. No refund. Won't connect to database. Developer won't contact me. DO NOT BUY!!!
