Failed to deliver fog Advisory.
Used to be a good app It used to alert for actual emergencies and had a tone that got attention. Now it warms for things not actually sent from EMAs.
Allows me to know when bad weather reports are issued for areas chosen.
Constant, redundant alerts render this app completely useless. The developer seems to have never heard the story of the boy who cried wolf. After repeated alerts about winter weather (in winter--what a surprise!) and other meaningless notifications, the sensible options are to ignore the alerts, turn off all notifications, or uninstall. Too bad FEMA couldn't be more judicious about issuing notifications and reserve that feature for truly important news.
Helped me many times. Be patient, this app does a lot of good. The app is a tiny bit slow. You do get to choose emergencies you want to be warned of. Warned me of civil unrest when there was a hassle downtown. I like it. Had helped me on many occasions. Also you choose the city and county you want warnings for.
So far, very informative!
