It doesn't give any more information than the NOAA site does. Save yourself a couple bucks and just save the web address to your home screen. I gave it three stars because it is well designed and easier to locate forecasts than on the internet. I would think for ocean forecasts this would be more valuable, but for great lakes forecasts not worth it. BUT IF YOU GUYS INCORPORATED REAL TIME BUOY INFORMATION INTO THE FORECASTS, LIKE ACTUAL WAVE HEIGHT,WIND SPEED, AND WATER TEMP, THIS WOULD BE AN AWESOME APP.
Yes, this is the same information you can find online through the National Weather Service, but the convenience of having it all in one place, the ability to save favorites, and the much cleaner and easier to read format is well worth the price!
It's very useful minimalistic design. The only complaint I have is that the general NOAA synopsis statement for the selected area is missing from the forecast.
UI is terrible. Does not show all info from NOAA that is critical to all boaters. Gave up trying to navigate between areas of interest to me.
