TaskS2 only works with Samsung Gear S2.Why is this app paid while the Gear app is free? The reason is that non-Samsung users cannot access paid apps in the Gear App Store. I release the Gear app for free so everyone can download it, but its Android companion app is a paid app. Please understand that I have to pay the bills too. AND THIS IS NOT A SCAM.Requirements:- You must have the main Tasker app for this app to work. IT WILL NOT WORK WITHOUT TASKER. Widget is a good idea, but it fails to work most of the time. Some feedback on the widget button press would be good too.
After using this application for around 5 mins., I would say that it ROCKS. Easy setup (+1 star), App size (+1 star), GUI (-1 star), Easy to use (+1 star), Interaction with the Gear S3 (+1 star). Although the app's description states that this app will work with S2 only, it does work with the S3 (using an S3 Frontier right now.) Worth the money. I would have some suggestions though: For the Widget: ability to change icons, and not just the color of the preset icon. For the Configuration options: It should be better explained how the "custom" list and the "all" list works (where is the custom list, how to create the custom list). As for the Gear companion app, the way to switch between Favorites and Main lists is not intuitive...
Man I'm really starting to LOVE this app. Only complaint is the widget on gear S3 just stops working. Have to delete and re add. Not a huge deal, just wish that would get fixed. Tasks2 used to have issues too but perfect now!
I was hoping this would let me control my watch volume from a task as well (create a single task to silence phone and watch, and another to turn them all back on), but it's great that I can run tasker tasks from my watch, so I can silence my phone without taking it out of my pocket! Any chance of adding watch actions in the future?
