Very inconsistent for remote start. It gives you updates and has correct location, yet when you go to start it, most of the time it tells you it's unlocking or can't lock, even though it is locked.
People are complaining that the APP isn't working all the time, but it's actually the CAR firmware which is the issue. I used to have bad communication using the app, but then I had my Disco 5 main software updated by my LandRover Dealer (not just infotainment) because of an electrical issue and now the app communicates every attempt.
How greedy are JLR, pay ÂŁ50k for a car and then after initial free period want to charge ÂŁ36 a year to use the app.
Hit or miss. Very inconsistent.
