The Dev really puts effort into the app doing exactly what it's supposed to. If I could make one recommendation it would be the option to have no ads at all. Payed once should be enough in my book. Still I'm very satisfied.
This is an excellent "compass" plugin! Whether i'm just playing around while having dessert with Martin 😜 or when i'm working various surveryor jobs out in either the desert, the woods, the jungle, or even the swamps i know this will be reliable as long as i don't walk up to any power transformers or other extremely powerful electrical or magnetic systems that are typically inaccessable to the general public in the first place! NOTE: i have always noticed that if i allow the usb jack to face in the "direction" of North the compass will actually be off by about 5°. Thus i am always certain to keep "panning" my device as i walk, making sure either the top or the upper half of either side of my device is facing the direction being pointed as North. This will happen with every compass app & plugin for any device simply because there is no way to electromagnetically shield the usb port & thus the more powerful your device's battery, the more powerful the electromagnetic interference from your device's usb port will occur but with proper handling & positioning of your device during use this & all good compass apps & plugins will (or should) work.
Plain & Simple - does the job perfectly. Now that the swipe assistant is available, I don't have to open the AIO app to gain access to the compass. That makes it great for quick and easy directional checks while using my telescope. I can keep one hand on the scope and check the compass with the other. I also use the compass for hiking & camping out in the woods. My only suggestion would be to perhaps have a small widget that I can have open on top of PDF maps or other apps. I'm still happy with the compass either way. I've been using the compass plug-in for a while and I have yet to have an ad pop up. (knock on wood)
This app is very simple to use very effective, and has extra handy tools to use all on I've place. The core functionality shows there's a small icon on my sleep screen to tap which cleans extra junk. Tapping another small icon removes unwanted background processes. Now I'm going to use their compass to help Feng shui my house.
Easy to use
Ignores dark theme setting. Bright white background eats battery. Unattractive design. Directional abbreviations are backwards. Instead of NE, NW, SE, SW, this app uses EN, ES, WN, WS. Maybe that's correct elsewhere, but not in the US. Needs to be corrected or a setting to change it needs to be added. Size is double the memory of other compass apps. The devs should look at "Compass (No Ads)" by Antoine Vianey if they want to model their plug-in after a more attractive compass app.
