The app now seems to work as it should, you can view/download from your camera library, and use your smartphone as a viewfinder.

App shuts down every time I try to connect to the camera. This really needs fixing.
Streaming video is very slow and stops every few seconds. Doesnt appear to download videos when trying to get around streaming problem.
I don't know if I'm unique but the software doesn't connect even though my phone is connected to the Olfi wifi. The worst though is they haven't replied in two weeks to my email asking for help. I wasted my money don't waste yours
Having so much fun with my new olfi. I love the quality it puts out and the 16mp photos are amazing for such a tiny device
The device is difficult to use, however after reading the instructions I found out the on button is the one with the power symbol. After that everything was quite self explanatory the picture quality is actually unreal, the app is flawless and simple. It is almost certainly the best "ÂŁ150"(!!) I have ever spent in my life, even if it was the same price as a Hero5 black I'd take the Olfi.
Locks up, loses connection, jumpy picture, very poor.
