Estimation application downloads and cost
Well I have a paid subscription the app works just not as fast as a remote would(start before running from zombies) I hear a lot of complaints but too be honest the app works fine, only downside is having to pay for subscription when it should come free with the car you love.
I am driving a 2022 Forester with a 5 year-old Garmin placed in front of screen that works 99% better than starlink and subaru- maps. After hours of aggravation and wasted hours, I have concluded that this app and included apps are just useless, reminds me of the 1995's computer technology.
It's always the coldest days (single digits) when this app decides not to work.

My grandma got a 2020 Forester and downloaded this app for remote start and tracking purposes. For the last week the app has not been working properly and I deleted it to reinstall it (update wouldn't download) and now it won't reinstall. This app needs fixed big time.
Poor intial customer service. Official paperwork indicates you can upgrade to 7 years for 6 months or 180 days from delivery date. THIS IS FALSE, Starkink would not honor their documentation from the dealer and will only upgrade for more than three years at the time of purchase. This requires the customer to pay considerably more, our experience with Subaru has been great until now, very disappointing and certainly a huge negative to Starkink. #Subaru, #Starlink, #Suabru Starkink.
App is unreliable and rarely connects to the car. It's incredibly frustrating
