I dislike that it needs to access the phone's location just to be a remote for the gimball. It immediately transfered 2.7MB of data when I first opened it. I think that may have been my contacts. Other than that, its OK.

I MIGHT BE ABLE TO HELP YOU. I had similar issues as everyone here, unable to connect my AK2000C to my Sony a6400 camera. What resolved my issue entirely was leaving my house. Yeah, I know, weird right? I guess there was interference with the connection. I left my house and was able to connect and update my gimbals firmware in the app, and now everything works great. Coming back home after the firmware update, things work great as well. If this doesn't help, I'm sorry. It fixed my issue though.

Why do you need, location and why when start the app it open a weblink in my browser before bouncing back to the app.
