Application InformationThe app was produced with co-funding from the EU (INTERREG V, Upper Rhine). It contains two interactive and bilingual routes (German and French), which allow you to discover the museums collection:- Route 1: “Hallo, Salut, Grüezi!”- Route 2: “The Rhine”.The Museum of the Three Countries Lörrach makes them available free of charge to its visitors or tourist partners for the creation of outdoor circuits. The target groups are adults and young people.Course contentThe “Hallo, Hi, Grüezi!” route tells stories from the region of the three countries around the theme of the border which is the common thread. They range from prehistory and ancient history to the end of the Second World War.The "Rhine" route allows you to discover general information on the Upper Rhine: the inhabitants, the bridges, the gold panning, the salmon fishing, the regulation, the hydroelectric power stations, the commercial axis, the waterway, the problems environmental issues, politics, Rhine romanticism and tourism.Course structureEach course has 10 stations. Each of them is centered around an object from the collection of the Museum of the Three Countries, witness to a facet of the history of the region.Each station is built according to the same model with 4 elements:0) Home page: presentation of the narrator, theme, indications for navigation.1) Audio intro.2) Photo of the object with text.3) Additional audio or video information.4) Fun activity.At the end of each station, the user receives a piece of a 10-piece puzzle that must be assembled at the end of the course. Then, the solutions (true/false) of the activities appear.For those who wish to obtain additional information on the themes, a link from the last page of the course provides access to a virtual gallery.Technique / operationTo complete a route, the following steps are necessary:1) Download and install the application on smartphoneDownloading the application and the route requires access to the Internet or a WIFI network only once. Once downloaded, the application can be used without a network at any location - an internet connection is only required to access the virtual gallery website, which provides more information.a) Once you have downloaded the app, you have not yet downloaded the courses.b) To download the courses, open the application, and choose the language in which you will follow the course.c) Click on the chosen language then on the course that interests you.Only then will it be downloaded.2) Route (start + navigation)a) Click on the name of the course chosen.b) The home page opens. Clicking on the blue arrow takes you to the next page.c) You are asked: “Go to the first step and scan the QR code you will find there”. After clicking on the blue arrow, a window opens to scan the QR code.d) A puzzle piece appears. Click on the blue arrow to see the contents of the first stage.You can continue to navigate the course by clicking on the blue arrow.The QRcode must be scanned at each of the 10 stations.At the beginning of the 10th station, you will be able to click on a link that will take you to the virtual gallery. From the virtual gallery, you can return to the application at any time by closing the gallery window: you will then return exactly to the step where you were in the app.The visit is over when you have successfully placed the puzzle pieces after the 10th station. You will then find the solutions for fun activities.
