Estimation application downloads and cost
3pm on a summer afternoon, with good visibility on a dry road. According to this pile of junk I was engaging in dangerous nighttime driving. If you are going to pretend that this app bears any relationship to driver or risk assessment you need to understand that 3pm is five and a half hours before sunset!!! What a joke.
The app is good however it does not seem to record every journey. (Most but not all) and also most of your points are based on the roads you use and not actually your driving so living near high risk roads automatically lowers your score even if you are driving fine
Not accurate enough.This was for my son who managed to get better points than me who has been driving for over 30 years. I have any car insurance so drove my son's car with minimal acceleration and minimal breaking, like driving Miss Daisy and got 51 points when my son got 71 points who has a months worth of experience. In the summary I was told that I was breaking harsh when i did little or no breaking. I have the dashcama with geo map recording so will be sending to directline for analysis
Trash, but they won't cancel your policy so pointless on their hehalf. I get RED scores for late night driving at 3:30 pm and it only gets worse later in the day, that along with RED scores for road risk, th they want me do fly to work and back!? So yeah no matter how well you drive it's virtually impossible to have a good score which means you'll probably have to change insurance provider next year. That being said they won't cancel the policy due to low scores so drive how u want really🤷♂
I like how it tracks the time & every journey, that can come in handy for numerous things. It can also be used to prove your location if you're wrongly accused of anything. However, I don't like the low scores for 'road risk' . It doesn't show you which part of your journey was classed as high risk, offering no alternative routes and no 'risk' map. It also scores low for 'time of day' past 8pm - ridiculous! Not everyone lives a 9-5 day. !Don't get if you drive in a busy city - AVG score 30-40!
It doesn't work. Doesn't recognise log in details, so can't even log in. Disappointed!
4pm is as night time driving. This app also encourages not stopping at yellow lights; if you get a yellow light 4-6 meters before the traffic light and you break you get penalised for 'harsh breaking'. When using this app you really need to be a 'perfect, smooth' driver. Also, if you need a short trip to a supermarket for a food shop (1-1.5 miles) you will always get a bad score as you are 'breaking and accelerating frequently' due stopping at to traffic lights etc.
