Description
Noise meter and analyzer app (dB meter), that measures the sound volume in decibels in your surroundings. It also references, in text, the current dB sound level to a known loudness of some common noises. Want to measure how loud or noisy is around you? If your car or motorcycle is too loud? The noise pollution in your area? This is the sound meter application for you. It has a nice analogue dial with arrow that points to the current decibel sound level where you are. It also has 3 displays, showing you the minimum, average and maximum volume of the sound in decibels that the app has measured. Below is a nice looking, real time graph, which shows the current and previous sound and noise level in decibels.Since your devices is not a professional sound meter a calibration may be needed for some devices. I was sceptical about an app that could measure sound levels but this actually works and seems rather accurate
