Description
CycleDroid allows for tracking your movement using GPS and display parameters such as: speed, distance, time, altitude, elevation, slope, burned calories, fat and many more. A route can be shown on a map and published on Facebook. The application allows for creating trips and assigning collected data to a specified trip. There is also a possibility to see a summary of selected trips: total distance, time etc.All data collected by the application can be exported to an SD card in the CSV format and then imported to another device with CycleDroid. It is also possible to save data to a GPX (GPS eXchange Format) or KML file and see a route on a map on a computer (for instance in Google Earth).CycleDroid provides also a feature of drawing graphs: altitude/distance, speed/distance, speed/time. You can easily zoom in/out a graph using multi-touch. does just what I want and no social networking (yay). best bike trip app of all.
Just started cycling again and tried this out today to record my commutes - turned on gps and tossed my smart phone in my bag - lots of data to look export and play with, haven't fully explored it but it's simple to use and have happily paid the "donation". I suspect that I'll want historic and total views but I can sort that out on my pc - it has saved me rushing into buying a bike computer. Oh and it's genuinely free with no ads if you are too tight (shame on you) to pay the 89p.
I've tried every cycle tracking app in the playstore. This is the best!!! Very lite on battery and brilliant stats.
This is one of the best bicycle apps! It is simple, informative and free! Without the need to create an account and post. Also it keeps your data private...
I've paid for the donate version as this developer deserved it. It's an amazing app and does everything you need to view and record bike trips. Would like to see the ability to change the colours of the background and the ability to specify the bike you've used but that's just a personal preference. The app is great.
Simple, easy to use and accurate. Wanted a no frills app just for cycling and this fits the bill. No need for a bike mounted computer with this :) Liked it so much, have donated.
