Want to wake up more relaxed, in a better mood? I suggest you try this Alarm Clock."Personal Sunrise" is a dawn simulator for Android devices. It helps to wake up more easily in the morning, as your body prepares for wakeup due to the increasing light of the display. No more waking up from deep sleep phases. You can try the app for longer than 2 hours - I will re-fund you without hesitation if you it does not fulfill your needs. You need to have several days to find out. If it does not satisfy you, please drop me a note with your order ID and - may I kindly ask - the reason so that I have a chance to improve the app.Enhanced features include support of:the Hue Personal Lighting System from Philipsthe FHEM home automation (allows commanding the coffee machine, roller blinds, ...)Wikipedia says "Dawn simulation is a technique originally developed to help treat seasonal affective disorder, but can be used as a soundless alarm clock to wake up the body naturally. Typically, the treatment involves timing lights in the bedroom to come on gradually, over a period of 30 minutes to 2 hours, before awakening.". WakeLight offers you several configuration options for the light simulation (sequence length, brightness curve, min/max brightness) and the sound (alarm sound, snooze timing and sound) in combination with the comfort of periodic alarm templates (with single-alarm removal), and of course single-alarm times. See the pictures. This app is very handy when youre travelling: take your dawn simulation with you!ā˜† ā˜† ā˜† It was intended to be used with tablets of at least 7 inches, but I have enough positive feedback of users with even smaller devices to be able to state it can be good to try with such a small device (especially, of course, if you want to use Hue lights). It depends on your light sensitivity, of course, and the brightness of your environment - but you will be astonished as it works subconscious. Just try, I think you will not regret it.Anyway, using HUE or FHEM the size of the device does not matter any more at all! These systems will handle the simulation.Features:āœ“ alarm templates for repetition as well as one-time alarmsāœ“ alarm tone can be internal tones, ringtones, playlists, external music and music stream from the internetāœ“ disable or change alarm time even of a one-time alarm of a templateāœ“ brightness, duration and sounds configurable, some sounds contained in the packageāœ“ optional display of weather forecast and sunrise/set times (using the free plugin downloadable from the shop)āœ“ clean and easy-to-use user interfaceāœ“ optionally display a clock with automatic brightness control (in case a brightness sensor is available) that gets brighter when touchedāœ“ optional text-to-speech reading of the actual time during the alarmāœ“ external apps can set alarms using the standard intent, for example Google Now "wake me up at 6:30"āœ“ dusk simulation: a red display will to improve falling asleep as well as your sleep.ā€¦and much moreā€¦You can find a more exhausting overview on my homepage at https://android.chk.digital/personal-sunrise/features/ā•ā•ā•ā•ā•A few words concerning privacy: Personal Sunrise does not collect any data and does not require a network except for optional functions like streaming music.Concerning the rights needed (and used), please refer to my homepage at https://android.chk.digital/personal-sunrise/required-rights/.Changes and updates are documented at my homepage https://android.chk.digital/personal-sunrise/version-history/

Waking up in the morning isn't a nearly impossible task anymore. Especially here in Northern Europe where winters are quite gloomy, a bit of light during the waking up process makes all the differece for the whole day, at least for me, I've noticed. :)

Works great. U.I. could use a little polishing to make it easier to use, but an app that works 100% as promised.

I use and like this app. However, I've had a number of issues. The designer is very good about fixing issues immediately, but I didn't sign up to be a beta tester. I reported one issue, it was fixed. Two to three other bugs later occurred - and I'm just dealing with it. Love waking up to music and light, however, and this app is only game in town so it is worth the $. Nexus 7. Android 5.0.2 (Edit: more specifics, bumped rating)

Works great except had a problem turning off the sound after the wake up time had elapsed

Helps me wake with sunrise

Awesome

Have a Moto X with Marshmallow. Set up the alarm and it worked great except the alarm would not turn off. Had to uninstall the app to get the alarm turned off. But I am awake.
