On startup, Calcy IV displays an unobtrusive and movable overlay button. By tapping this button once while in a monster screen, the app automatically calculates this monsters IVs (individual values). For fully evolved monsters, Calcy IV also calculates the DPS and the performance of your attackmoves when used either as an attacker or a defender. IVs are hidden values which determine how strong a monster can be. This means that two monsters of the same species can have up to 20% different maximal CP. That way, Calcy IV helps you to decide in under a second whether a monster is worth leveling up or can be transferred immediately.
If you wish, Calcy generates a nickname (based out of different blocks based on your preferences containing e.g. IV-Performances or Combinations, Attackmove-Types, DPS and whether the monster is better suited as an attacker or defender.
By tapping the overlay button a longer time, you can see all valid combination and filter them with the appraisal system. Calcy IV can show you how much it would cost to level up the monster to a selectable level and what stats it would have at this level (inclusive the possible IV!) - either in its current form or when fully evolved. In a third detail screen, you can see the scanned attackmoves, their performance, and which types they are effective against, and compare them to other possible moves of the monster species.
There is no need to insert the monster values manually. The app uses a screenshot and optimized text-recognition to read the important values. This nearly always gives the correct IVs without need of manual correction. Therefore, both the scan and the output of Calcy function without interference of the game. In the rare cases the monster values are visually blocked, you can adjust the missing values manually.
The app uses the arc above the monster to get the exact level of it. This means you get the most precise IVs possible - and not just an average.
