Does what it should, and works well. It is expensive, and maybe there is a more cost efficient app you can find, but for any musician who wants to improve, this is easily worth $10.

This app DOES NOT WORK with a Google pixel. It seemed great on my friend's iPhone, but on Android it crashes every time within 15-30 seconds.

Update: It is now February, 5 months after I made my email request to the developers to update the app. They have indeed delivered, so I am bumping my review up from 1 to 3 stars. I think they initially promised me about a month, so this delay is annoying. I am past learning the material that I had needed help with earlier. But this app is useful and good. Hence the 3 stars. And I did eventually receive a helpful response -- so the developers are listening, just it takes time. I hope they continue to synchronize updates for iOS and Google Play Store. Old Review: I bought this app for a college course, Theory of Music I. I need the 'Music Recognition' feature to be available on android. It is currently not. All my classmates who have iPhones are perfectly content with their purchase, but me and my fellow android classmates feel very cheated right now. Google Play has an awful refund policy; I cannot get a refund at all. I have been in touch with the developers and am not receiving prompt support. They just need to add the easy pitch recognition feature and update the android version to reflect the updates on iOS. This was a huge waste of money, and time in trying to address it. I will update this review if the necessary feature is added.

The app is good but every time I try to add a custom scale "blues" I get too the 6th note in the scale and it doesn't let me go any further or move that 6th note up or down.. Super frustrating as that's the scale I need the most help with!! I have a HTC u11

Few answers will say wrong, but say the right answer is what you chose. For exemple, you chose minor, and they say wrong, the right answer is minor. Annoying for that, but at least you get the right answer still. Just doesn't count them as rifht answer.

Unfortunately there are multiple problems. Exercise settings are dark on dark, so I cant read anything. In melodic reading, notes are shifted on the staff which makes it useless. In chord learning mode it changes the key all the time so I cant compare for example Amaj7 to A7.
